SHARJAH, 8th February, 2026 (WAM) -- The Sharjah Art Foundation has launched its Spring 2026 programme, featuring two exhibitions at Al Mureijah Square, "Time the destroyer is time the preserver" by Jorge Tacla and "Sunkissed" by Ahaad Alamoudi. The exhibitions run from 8th February till 7th June 2026.
Sheikha Nawar Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Art Foundation, said the Spring programme was inaugurated with the exhibitions "Time the destroyer is time the preserver" and "Sunkissed", which invite audiences to reflect on images and narratives, and on how they contribute to shaping our understanding of our surroundings and our shared human selves.
She added that the Foundation's collaboration with Jorge Tacla spans many years, dating back to his participation in the 10th Sharjah Biennial around 15 years ago. She noted that the exhibition "SunKissed" affirms the Foundation's vision of supporting emerging artists in the region and providing them with space to develop their authentic artistic voices.
She praised the efforts of the artists and curators and their role in the successful organisation of the exhibitions, extending thanks to the Sharjah Art Foundation team.
